Shopping is stressful sometimes. Especially to those that don’t like it anyway. I have a friend that despises it shopping. So thinking about her, I decided to write this post. I know she isn’t the only one, so please feel free to share with your friends who don’t like going through the motions of shopping. BTW: This can be applied to any type of shopping!
Check websites for prices and products before you go. Don’t waste a trip when you can do some research first. Get your list of what you are items you are looking for and follow it. I know that if you don’t like going, you probably won’t get to distracted, but if you like shiny things
like me, this will get you prepared.
If you are reading this, you probably don’t like window shopping and perusing things you can’t buy. Set out a budget. Write down how much you are willing to spend on each item you plan on purchasing.
I’m an advocate on trying on clothes although I hate it sometimes. I manage to always wear a dress or loose clothing to be able to get off quickly and easily. I suggest tennis shoes or flats too!
Before you walk out the house, eat a snack. Give yourself some energy for this journey you are about to go on. You’ve researched your purchases and planned out your budget. Make sure you are fueled up to make your experience better!
WEDNESDAY 10AM (Avoid busy shopping times)
The date and time when no one is in the mall. Which is a good thing for you. If you want to get in and out, not have to wait on dressings rooms, and possibly have one of the store clerks to help you with picking items or giving opinions, go during a time where the stores have less people in them. Also, for most places, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are when clothing companies get more shipment in.
I hope this has helped you! Please let us know if any of these tips worked for you!
