The mix of color on these pants attracted me to them. I wish I had more of these! These are extremely comfortable and can be worn casually or dressy. I actually wore these this past weekend to New Orleans with black sandals and a loose fitting purple shirt. It was casually but still colorful. I actually received a bunch of compliments while on Bourbon Street. 🙂
I noticed that my closet is getting a lot more “fancy” pants added to them. I recently just bought a pair of pants from Gap that were purple and black. I love the fact that you can have a statement pant to brighten up your look.
Instead of always wearing a printed shirt or blazer, try adding print to your lower half. EVERYONE can wear print on the lower half and it look great no matter what your size is. Remember to add a solid or neutral color on top for balance.
Do you have printed pants in your closet for Spring?

Hey lovelies! Hope you all had a good weekend. I have had a relaxing weekend. Other than a quick road trip on Saturday, I have been on my couch watching live runway shows for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York. I’ve been getting my fashion fix and loving every bit of what I have seen so far. Also, I’ve been keeping my eye on the street style in NYFW of bloggers and fashionable people walking. I’ve gotten a lot of inspiration. Have you guys seen any shows? I’m for sure going to be there this year!
Have a good week!
This outfit is such a comfortable and cute getup for shopping for your friends and family for the holiday season. The sweater was literally was $30 and on sale for $10. It’s all about the steal!
Have you all started shopping for your loved ones? I’m picking up a few here and there but plan to do all of my shopping by the next week.

Sparkle and Stripes! It’s NOVEMBER! My gosh this year went by fast. It will be 2014 in two months!
It’s all about the holidays and the parties! Berricle contacted me to style one of their fabulous and affordable necklaces. This type of sparkle is just what I need for my holiday dresses! They have rings, necklaces, and bracelets for any occasion and the price is AMAZING.
I decided to wear this new trend that I have been seeing on mannequins in all the department stores like Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, and Dillards. It is such a cute alternative instead of wearing the chunky statement necklaces (which I love) for those who want just a little interest. It’s dainty and gives just enough sparkle.
All the looks were fabulous and had a touch of edge to them. Each blogger styled their pick for the fall trends on how they would wear them. I especially loved the double necklaces, plaid, leather, and cat-eye glasses (which I’m on the hunt for as we speak!).
What trends are you all excited to see this fall?
A couple of weeks ago Vikki Adams from Nail Mogul invited me to help out with a nail event at Method Boutique in Rice Village. It was such a great event! Vikki treated Method Boutique’s customers with a “Dry Manicure”, a fun polish for summer, and tips on how to design their nails at home.
We had great participation with our #NailedIt challenge as well. The ladies won some fun nail goodies including CND products, Sally Henson products, finger nail polishes, etc. Check out the happy faces that enjoyed their short pampering session!
